Tammy Blanchard to Star in “Amish Grace”

Monday, November 30th, 2009

Filming begins tomorrow in L.A. on a movie based on the tragic events that occurred at an Amish Schoolhouse in October of 2006. Kimberly Williams-Paisley will star in “Amish Grace,” a made-for-television film about the aftermath of the brutal crime that happened in Nickels Mine, PA, when a gunman walked into the schoolhouse and killed five young girls and then took his own life. The story received attention not only for the gruesome crime, but also for how quickly the leaders of the Amish community offered unconditional forgiveness to the shooter and his widow. Williams-Paisley will play the mother of one of the shooters victims and Tammy Blanchard is set to star as the widow of the shooter. The film is set to air in 2010 on Lifetime Movie Network. It will be based on accounts of the event and the book “Amish Grace: How Forgiveness Transcended Tragedy” by Donald Kraybill, Steven Nolt and David Weaver-Zercher.

SAW VII

SAW VII

There are currently many rumors circulating around the web about SAW IV. Many are saying that Tammy Blanchard will be cast along with many of those from previous SAW films.

It is also rumored that the seventh opus of the Saw movie series will go 3D! Some might call 3D a gimmick, but I think Lionsgate does the right thing: it would be shameful not to use 3D by now!

Variety confirms that Saw 7 will be released in October 2010 and reports that the movie Saw VII will start production in January 2010. And in a surprising move, it is announced that David Hackl (who started off as a production designer for the second, third and fourth SAW films before helming the fifth movie) is back to direct this new opus of the Saw movie series.
